Knights show support at the "Leap for Life" Benefit

Wednesday night, February 29th, the Knights of Columbus were well represented at the "Leap for Life" fundraising benefit in honor of LifeChoices Women's Care Center located in Lutz, Florida. The sold out event, which hosted nearly 300 supporters, was a great testament to the commitment for Life from Parishioners of St. Timothy, St. Marks and Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Churches. Special recognition was give to the Knights of Columbus for their contributions and volunteer support in helping LifeChoices move to its new location at 1527 Dale Mabry Hwy., Suite 101, Lutz FL 33548.
LifeChoices Women's Care is a nonprofit early pregnancy medical clinic helping women in unplanned pregnancies to choose life for their babies. Serving nearly 700 clients in 2011 they provide, free of charge, services that include confidential counseling, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, prenatal vitamins, nursing assessments, options counseling, abortion education and help women and men who seek healing from the past decision of an abortion for their babies through their HEART program (Healing the Effects of Abortion Related Trauma) post abortion support.
